Laughing Gull: Del Rey Beach: Clatsop Co., OR 26 AUG 2007

I was surely surprised to find this Laughing gull on the beach this Sunday. This is only the fourth or fifth record of Laughing Gull for Oregon. Another was reported from Washington a few weeks ago. The bird seen here is a subadult still showing some black in the secondaries and coverts.
